Item type:Thesis, Access status: Restricted , Analiza akustycznych obrazów falowych wykonanych sondą Full Wave Sonic(Data obrony: 2012-09-10) Przybyłowicz, Joanna
Wydział Geologii, Geofizyki i Ochrony ŚrodowiskaThe paper presents an analysis of the acoustic wave forms obtained for the four holes located within the Przedkarpackie foredeep. In order to process and interpret the results of measurement GeoWin system was used (FWS Wave 2 application). Obtained value of compressional and shear waves velocity together with the velocity of Stoneley waves as well as the calculated Vp / Vs ratio allowed for the interpretation of the geological structure of the given rock centers. Designated interval times of the P and S waves with density profiling also enabled the determination of dynamic elastic modulus of rock. A juxtaposition of the dependency of velocity and bulk modules on the value of the Vp/Vs ratio, porosity and clay volume was made. On the basis of the results of the research the conclusions about the lithology, porosity and fracturing, as well as elastic and reservoir properties of rocks were drawn.Item type:Article, Access status: Open Access , Analiza czasowo-częstotliwościowa akustycznych obrazów falowych za pomocą transformaty falkowej(Wydawnictwa AGH, 2005) Wawrzyniak-Guz, KamilaInterpretation of acoustic full waveforms is based on identification of elastic waves recorded in boreholes. Determination of arrival time and duration of wave packets can be solved using time-frequency analyses such a wavelet transform. Discrete and continuous wavelet transform were applied to decomposition of wave field. Research showed that discrete wavelet transform is not a proper tool to solving the problem. However, it allows denoising signals. Research on continuous wavelet transform, which has better resolution, are carried out and gives a chance to decompose wave field into separate waves.Item type:Thesis, Access status: Restricted , Model prędkościowy ośrodka geologicznego w oparciu o profilowania geofizyki wiertniczej i korelację międzyotworową(Data obrony: 2012-07-18) Snochowska, Elżbieta
Wydział Geologii, Geofizyki i Ochrony ŚrodowiskaCompressional and shear waves velocities were calculated for selected wells from the Carpathian Foredeep. Acoustic full waveforms standard processing and interpretation were made in GeoWin system, elastic waves velocities were obtained with the use of semblance function. Additionally, compressional wave velocity was calculated with the use of slowness from standard sonic log (from Borehole Compensated Sonic tool), and shear waves velocities were determined on the basis of Castagna’s, Krif and Liu relationships. Vertical litological-facies changeability was determined from well correlation based on the selected well logs. Integration of elastic waves velocities with correlation results was the key to construct velocity models for the selected boreholes.Item type:Thesis, Access status: Restricted , Profilowanie akustyczne źródłem informacji o własnościach sprężystych skał – analiza metodyczna(Data obrony: 2010-07-07) Grzywnowicz, Katarzyna
Wydział Geologii, Geofizyki i Ochrony ŚrodowiskaThe purpose of the M.Sc. thesis is an analysis of acoustic full waveforms recorded by sonic tool, Full Wave Sonic, in three borehole in the Carpathian Foredeep. Elastic parameters for the different lithostratigraphic horizons were calculated. The calculations were made with the use of the FalaFWS application of the GeoWin computer program. Analysis of acoustic full waveforms enabled for specification of elastic parameters of rocks in situ. In this paper also includes interpretation of the velocity of elastic wave in relation to other parameters obtained from well logs.Item type:Thesis, Access status: Restricted , Wyznaczanie i analiza własności sprężystych skał na podstawie pomiarów geofizyki otworowej(Data obrony: 2011-09-13) Mroczko, Mateusz
Wydział Geologii, Geofizyki i Ochrony ŚrodowiskaThe purpose of the M.Sc. thesis is a determination and analysis of elastic parameters of rocks based on acoustic full waveforms logs recorded by Full Wave Sonic tool, HalliburtonEnergyServices, in two wells in the Fore-Sudetic Monocline. Elastic parameters were calculated for the Rotliegend sandstones. As a result, the velocity of P, S and Stoneley waves, Vp/Vs ratio, Poissons ratio, as well as Young’s, shear and bulk moduli were obtained. The calculations were made with the use of the FalaFWS application of the GeoWin computer software. Analysis of acoustic full waveforms enabled to specify the elastic parameters of rocks in situ. This paper also includes analysis of relations between calculated elastic parameters and reservoir parameters (porosity and water saturation).
