    In this Master’s thesis I’m performing the task of designing, creating and implementing an internet communicator application, based on assumptions of agent systems. Document includes detailed specifications of all technologies used as well as elements of architectural design, such as sequence diagrams, flow algorithms and implementation information like source codes or Entity-Relationship Diagram (ERD). Whole project is extended by a fully functional application, available at www.inchat.pl and other additional features, which will be helpful in understanding an idea of program and its construction.

    Propozycja wysokoskalowalnej metody replikacji danych Theta dla rozproszonych systemów transakcyjnych

    The aim of this paper is a proposition of the new replication method for distributed systems with large number of nodes, which is suitable for systems in which demand on high level of scalability is a key issue. The approach is designed for systems working in heterogeneous environments with various platforms, operating systems or database vendors. The article contains presentation of Theta method, description of the communication layer and system components, and presentation of transaction management for the proposed method.
