    The aim of this thesis is to provide assistance funds for the modernization of industrial plants for the Nitric Plant in Tarnów. Companies applying for funding are required to meet strict EU requirements. On the basis of European Union funds projects related to modernization of the plant can be implemented. Within the aid funds Nitrogen Plants in Tarnów are executing the project on the economic use of ashes. CHP also requires the modernization resulting in greater efficiency of the energy generation, as well as, greater production. The problem of harmful emissions into the air can be solved by the construction of flue gas desulphurization system, raising funds for this project from EU funds.
