Item type:Thesis, Access status: Restricted , Jakość wód podziemnych i jej zagrożenia w obszarze wiejskim północnej części zlewni Raby(Data obrony: 2011-10-11) Kędroń, Katarzyna
Wydział Geologii, Geofizyki i Ochrony ŚrodowiskaMaster's thesis presents the characteristics of groundwater in the selected fragment of the Raba River basin, with particular emphasis on anthropogenic factors. The aim of this master's thesis is to show the quality of groundwater in the area. It consists of three parts: the first part presents the general characteristics of the study area, the second one focuses on the analysis of the results study of groundwater samples taken from different sites selected with the use of a point monitoring program GWstat, and the third part shows influence of anthropogenic factors on the evolution of groundwater quality in the study area.Item type:Thesis, Access status: Restricted , Wrażliwość wód podziemnych na zanieczyszczenia antropogeniczne w północnej części zlewni Raby(Data obrony: 2014-12-16) Woda, Mariola
Wydział Geologii, Geofizyki i Ochrony ŚrodowiskaThe purpose of this study is to present the groundwater vulnerability for anthropogenic contaminations in the catchment of Królewski Potok, that is located in the north Raba area. The catchment area is about 30 km2 and it is mostly occupied by the farmlands. In order to determine the suitability of natural-groundwater contaminations, a model of ArcGis has been done, which end result is a map showing the approximate time of the MRT, ie. time to replace the volumetric moisture content of soils and rocks of the vadose zone by infiltrating rainwater. Time has been divided into classes according to the obtained susceptibility. Based on the available data and researches, groundwater quality were correlated with the resulting map MRT and potential outbreaks of contaminations. The analysis model indicated that the susceptibility of groundwater in the catchment area of the Królewski Potok is large. Next, the con-frontation of qualitative studies conducted by Furtak (2014) reveal that the water quality in the catchment of the Kró-lewski Potok is poor (according to the Water Framework Directive (RDW, 2000)), and the water quality is near IV and V water quality classes (according to the Regulation of the Minister of the Environment (RMŚ, 2008)). The high water vulnerability and poor chemical status may indicated, that it is necessary to take steps to improve the quality of groundwater in the catchment area of the Królewski Potok.
