    The aim of the work was to demonstrate the impact of human activities on water quality conducted by the river Biała Tarnowska. To achieve meaningful results are planned to investigate the chemistry of the waters of the river at points located below the anticipated contamination and outbreaks of inhabited areas. For verification of obtained in this way the data are used values obtained from water samples taken at the points of discharges of pollutants. On the basis of comparative analysis evaluated the impact of pollution sources at specific points, the intensity of their impact, and impact on water quality throughout the test section.
