Item type:Thesis, Access status: Restricted , Geologia i okruszcowanie dolomitu granicznego na obszarze OZG Lubin Wschodni(Data obrony: 2011-09-06) Zygman, Marta
Wydział Geologii, Geofizyki i Ochrony ŚrodowiskaThe border dolomite occurs mainly in the Lubin area between overlying metalliferous shales (Zeschstein Kupferschiefer) and underlying white sandstones (Weissliegendes Sandstone). Studied rock is thin and not continuous bed, accumulated in vast, shallow depressions between sandstone elevations. Much thicker, specific variation of border dolomite, called organogenic dolomite, is composted from organic, mainly algal fragments. Samples: both from copper ores and boundary dolomite were collected during graduation practice in KGHM, in 2010. Mineralogical observation under reflected light showed presence of the same ore mineral association within the typical ore and boundary dolomite. Mineralization of studied rock is similar to shale and sandstone, dominated by chalcocite, bornite and chalcopyrite. Mineralogical studies have been carried at Department of Economical Geology, at Faculty of Geology, Geophysics and Environmental Protection, AGH University of Science and Technology. Also were downloaded data from the geological KGHM documentation, which allowed to made maps of thickness and Cu- grade on selected sections of Lubin Mine East Field.
