Item type:Article, Access status: Open Access , Hydrogeologiczne właściwości dewońskich skał węglanowych w masywie świętokrzyskim(Wydawnictwa AGH, 2006) Rzonca, BartłomiejThe monograph concerns the regional-scale research done on the identifying hydrogeological properties of Devonian limestone and dolomites. There were examined the properties of the hydraulic subsystems of the entire massifs: rock matrix, fissures, karst voids and the residual deposits filling the karst voids. The results demonstrated clearly insignificant role of the matrix (also as water storage), the hydraulic role of the karst forms is also strongly limited by the fillings properties. The essential part of the publication is a reinterpretation of the regional set of pumping test results (218 wells) in steady-state conditions. The evaluation demonstrated very high, random variability of the environment. The interpretations of some unsteady-state tests exactly confirmed the values obtained from the steady-state conditions pumping.Item type:Thesis, Access status: Restricted , Influence of stylolites on fluid migration in carbonate rocks: A case study of the Andrychów Klippes (Outer Westren Carpathians)(Data obrony: 2016-01-21) Strzelecki, Piotr
Wydział Geologii, Geofizyki i Ochrony ŚrodowiskaThis dissertation presents actual state of knowledge about pressure solution and its results with special regard to their role in fluid migration. The research is based on literature review and investigation of limestones of the Andrychów Klippes (Outer Western Carpathians) including structural, petrographic and chemical analyses.Item type:Article, Access status: Open Access , Kamieniołomy surowców węglanowych w regionie świętokrzyskim przykładem korytarzy ekologicznych(2007) Barga-Więcławska, JadwigaStudies of malacofauna and vegetation in quarries of carbonate rocks in the Swiętokrzyskie region were carried out in the period between 1999-2005. The investigations were conducted on waste heaps and workings, and demonstrated the differences in ecological conditions between heaps and workings. Snail studies were performed using the quantitative method. The study revealed the presence of 57 snail species which constitutes 58% of all snail species occurring in the Świętokrzyskie Mountains. The most abundant snail communities were observed in the »Zygmuntówka« quarry, in »Miedzianka« and »Wietrznia« quarries, and in the area of the historical galena mine on Karczówka in Kielce. Terrains changed by mining are habitats of rare and endangered plant and snail species. The following snail species should be mentioned: Cecilioides acicula, Clausilia bidentata, Acantinula aculeate, Trichi lubomirski, Helix pomatia and Helix lutescens. Nine southern species were identified. Malacofauna of post-mining areas is a manifestation of transformations progressing in natural environment of our region.Item type:Thesis, Access status: Restricted , Ocena i wpływ współczynnika skrasowienia na wielkość zasobów złóż kopalin węglanowych (na przykładzie złoża „Budy”)(Data obrony: 2011-10-10) Głowacka, Katarzyna
Wydział Geologii, Geofizyki i Ochrony ŚrodowiskaThe aim of this thesis was karst coefficient assessment and its impact on amount of carbonate resources. The characteristic of karst forms occurring in Devonian Holy Cross Mountains was accomplished during realization of this issue. Limestone and dolomite deposit “Budy” was the karst phenomena investigation place. The method of karst coefficient estimation was chosen through the own observations and literature information. An interpretation of received results was also effectuated. In addition an attempt to clarification of correlation between calculated karst coefficient size and quantity of deposit resources was undertook.
