    This thesis takes more and more frequently discussed question of the use of geothermal energy. It is based on data from the region of Rzeszow and for this area is carried out preliminary analysis of the conditions of occurrence and potentiality of use thermal waters. On the basis of hole cards for drilling oil and gas exploration, have been extracted information that can in general tell us the nature and parameters of the occurrence of groundwater aquifers. Also presented was an attempt to classify in terms of temperature and water chemistry for a particular purpose utility.
