    The purpose of the M.Sc. thesis is an analysis of acoustic full waveforms recorded by sonic tool, Full Wave Sonic, in three borehole in the Carpathian Foredeep. Elastic parameters for the different lithostratigraphic horizons were calculated. The calculations were made with the use of the FalaFWS application of the GeoWin computer program. Analysis of acoustic full waveforms enabled for specification of elastic parameters of rocks in situ. In this paper also includes interpretation of the velocity of elastic wave in relation to other parameters obtained from well logs.
