Creating applications for geodetic computations

W pracy pokazano sposób tworzenia (przy średnim zaawansowaniu umiejętności programistycznych) aplikacji komputerowej, której zadaniem jest wykonywanie obliczeń geodezyjnych (oparto się na przykładzie obliczenia sieci niwelacyjnej). Sieci takie są najczęściej mierzone przez małe firmy geodezyjne. Wykonanie obliczeń wymaga odpowiedniego programu. Pokazany jest sposób wykonania aplikacji, która pozwoli na zaspokojenie indywidualnych potrzeb użytkownika, w szczególności umożliwi kontrolę i prezentację wyników obliczeń.

The paper presents a system created in the Main Institute of Mining. The system called Szkody ver. 4.0. is a 32-bit version of system allowing very quick calculation of deformations in Windows. Numerous tool programs allow, among others, graphical outlook of the calculated deformations in the areas of the grids of calculation points, assistance in making the timetable of mining, assessment of the amount of deposit, making auxiliary files for maps and graphs, etc. The examples of the application of this system as the support in the forecasting and the analysis of the measured deformations during the building of A4 motorway, especially the distance Wirek junction - Batory junction are given.

Using a spreadsheet for surveying computations

The paper features the method of creating a computer application (assuming intermediate programming skills) that shall perform geodetic computations. Computation of a leveling net is used as an example, as being the most often analyzed by small geodetic companies. In order to perform computations of this kind a proper program is required. The paper shows a way to create a spreadsheet based application providing the particular requirements fulfillment, especially controlling and displaying the computation results.
