Wydział Geologii, Geofizyki i Ochrony ŚrodowiskaThe purpose of this thesis was to present the conditions of forming of the groundwater table within the precinct of the cone of depression around Olkusz’s mine of $Zn-Pb$ ores and the influence of mining in examined area were presented. Hydrogeological conditions of Triassic, Jurassic and Quaternary aquifer, conditions of their supply and drainage were described. Contacts between water-bearing horizons were characterized. The development and range of existence through the years of the cone of depression, that has been formed, when mines were dehydrating was presented. Maps of hydroisopleths of Jurassic aquifer were drawn on the basis of examinations performed during field research in 2012. Map of the cone of depression of Jurassic aquifer positions differences was drawn on the basis of archival data collected in 1970-1973 compared to data collected in 2012. There have been indicated areas of maximum reduction of the groundwater cone of depression over the years. 9 specimen of water were sampled to perform hydrogeochemical analysis from the sources found within the precinct of examined area.Item type:Article, Access status: Open Access , Wpływ głębokiej eksploatacji węgla brunatnego na zmiany środowiska wodnego w rejonie Kopalni »Bełchatów«(2007) Motyka, Jacek; Czop, Mariusz; Jończyk, Waldemar; Stachowicz, Zbigniew; Jończyk, Ilona; Martyniak, RenataBrown coal exploration in the Bełchtów open-pit is connected with intensive and deep drainage of the groundwater from Quaternary, Tertiary and also Cretaceous-Jurassic aquifers. Drainage of the high permeable aquifers has led to the formation of the extensive zone of the hydrodynamical changes of water environment. Bełchatów open-pit cone of depression has an a area of about 450 $km^{2}$. Within central part of this cone in the vicinity of the Bełchatów open-pit, groundwater table was highly lowered, on the order of tens metres. The next influence of the mining activity in Bełchatów open-pit is connected with changes in surface water budget, mainly in decreasing in groundwater recharge of the cachtments. Drainage of the groundwater is a reason for formation of the anthropogenic, modern vadose zone with availability of the oxygen. Groundwater quality deterioration within cone of depression is connected with geochemical processes of the sulphide minerals oxidation, buffering of the acid mine drainage and formation of the highly soluble secondary sulphate minerals and also occurrence of the Na-CI groundwater in the »Dębina« salt dome area. Wydział Geologii, Geofizyki i Ochrony ŚrodowiskaW celu określenia wpływu obniżenia zwierciadła wód gruntowych na kondycję sosny zwyczajnej, rosnącej w Nadleśnictwie Bełchatów, posłużono się analizą przyrostów rocznych. Pobrano 60 odwiertów z dwóch stanowisk. Jedno z nich położone było poza granicami leja depresji Kopalni Węgla Brunatnego Bełchatów, drugie w obrębie jego granic. W wyniku odwodnienia wyrobiska doszło do wystąpienia redukcji w większości badanych drzew, szczególnie widoczne jest to w latach 1989-1991.
