    The primary threats occurring in mines are the shocks. With zoning, we can determine the direction or place in which such a phenomenon took place. The purpose of this work was to create an application that allows do appoint on which geophone signal appeared earliest, and the difference in time begining of acoustic emission given in milliseconds between the earliest path and those on which the signal was recorded with a delay. The work compares the effectiveness of correlation for calculating the delay, depending on the variation of the input variable. Work has been completed the presentation of the results compared to the measurement carried out by the operator and reaching final conclusions. As the environment for the implementation of this task choosed language Java.
