    The relationship between the thickness and copper accumulation of carbonate ore and thickness of sandstone ore in the region of Central elevation of the Rudna deposit has been examined. Statistical analysis showed significant variations in these deposit parameters. The study of correlation and regression of the mentioned parameters revealed a poor correlation between thickness of the carbonate and sandstone ores and between copper accumulation within carbonate ore and thickness of sandstone ore. However, between the thickness of carbonate ore and copper accumulation within carbonate ore exists a very strong relationship , so that the prediction of one parameter value from the value of the other on the basis of the determined regression model is very effective. Visual assessment of parameters relationship on the basis of contour maps created using ordinary kriging and polynomial regression was consistent with the above values of correlation coefficients.
