    Analiza oddziaływania stopnia wodnego „Dąbie” w Krakowie na warunki hydrogeologiczne

    The main aim of this Master’s dissertation is to analyze the impact of dam „Dąbie” in Cracow on the hydrogeological conditions. The Master’s dissertation describes the location of study area, climate, hydrography, geological structure, groundwater conditions, characterizes dam„Dąbie”, drainage system and chemical composition of waters. An important element of the Master’s dissertation is to evaluate the impact of damming the Vistula River with dam „Dąbie” on groundwater conditions and analysis of functioning of the drainage system in the years 2005-2011. Based on data from the Regional Water Management Authority found, that the drainage system complies with the assumptions required to maintain a groundwater table at a certain level, which generates no threat to the existing urban buildings.
