    The purpose of this paper is to review solutions available to build a spatial data warehouse. This review includes both commercial and free software. The first part presents the basic concepts of building a data warehouse. It also presents main features of software available on the market. The next part contains issues related to spatial data warehousing, and spatial ETL. The final section presents the practical implementation of spatial data warehouse construction in two competing open source softwares - Talend Open Studio and GeoKettle. It also includes a comparison of these software products as suitable for the construction of spatial data warehouse.
