Item type:Thesis, Access status: Restricted , Interpretacja wyników badań geofizycznych wykonanych metodami sejsmicznymi (refrakcja, tomografia refrakcyjna, MASW) w rejonie Doliny Małej Łąki (Tatry)(Data obrony: 2010-10-06) Maj, Michał
Wydział Geologii, Geofizyki i Ochrony ŚrodowiskaApplication of geophysical methods (especially seismic methods) to solve geomorphologic problems is the theme of this paper. Based on results of seismic refraction, refraction tomography and multichannel analysis of surface waves attempts of interpretation of complex geomorphological structure in the area of Wielka Polana glade in Mała Łąka Valley (Polish Western Tatra Mountains) have been made. Due to difficult acquisition conditions quality of seismic data wasn’t quite good. Despite of that the similar and reliable findings have been acquired after processing. The results are confirming recent hypothetical model about last (Würm) glaciation and the conditions of deglaciation of the valley.
