MSC thesis include various profits of the environmental, social and economic aspects which affected by the development of this field. Moreover was analyzed threats that may cause the development of wind power. Every aspect was basis of example wind turbine in Borowo.

Cooperation among SMEs in Poland on the path to their development

On the basis of the overview of the literature of the subject, the significance of the problem of cooperation among SMEs in the context of the factors influencing their development is presented. The author's own empirical research conducted among the enterprises of the sector with and without foreign capital in Poland presents the engagement of these enterprises in cooperation with other enterprises as well as with other market entities such as local government units, research and development units, or institutions of higher education. The results of the research concerning various forms of cooperation among SMEs with other enterprises as well as the size classes of the cooperating enterprises are also graphically presented. Moreover, the assessment of the similarity of the structures of the SME sector enterprises with Polish and foreign capital is made, which in turn made it possible to define their similarities and differences by taking into consideration their capital (Polish or foreign).

Geologiczno inżynierska ocena możliwości zagospodarowania terenu po eksploatacji kruszyw w Starych Żukowicach

Obszar pracy stanowi teren kopalni odkrywkowej kruszywa naturalnego w Starych Żukowicach. Scharakteryzowano obszar pod względem geograficznym, geologicznym i hydrogeologicznym. Na podstawie przeprowadzonych badań terenowych i laboratoryjnych dokonano opisu geologicznego poszczególnych gruntów. Wykonano opracowanie i analizę uzyskanych wyników oraz wykonano profil geotechniczny obszaru objętego analizą. W pracy przedstawiono proponowany sposób zagospodarowania terenu po zakończeniu eksploatacji w miejscowości Stare Żukowice. Rozważone zostały inne możliwości rekultywacji obszaru kopalni.

Identifying key factors for successful development of agricultural biogas plants in Poland

In Poland, the potential for biogas production is high. It is an important source of renewable energy and contributes to reducing methane emissions (a greenhouse gas). In this article, the implementation of an agri-gas plant-construction program was evaluated in individual voivodeships based on materials from the National Agricultural Advisory Center (KOWR), the literature, and statistical data. Based on the collected data, it was concluded that the most meaningful factors for the successful development of Polish agricultural biogas plants were biogas-production technology, substrate availability, energy prices from renewable energy sources, waste-disposal costs, the population density in a commune, and the allocation of places in local spatial-development plans. The DEMATEL technique was used to identify the key developmental factors. The results of the study provide useful information for both governments and local authorities in their searches for effective ways to drive the sector’s development.

Investigation of the interaction of reservoir sections with different permeability in depleted gas field

For many gas fields, including Ukraine, which are being developed in gas drive, there is a deviation of graphics rectilinear dependence of reduced average reservoir pressure from the theoretical straight line dependence. The reason for this may be the existence of imperfectly drained zones, zones with low-permeable reservoirs within the limits of the field. They include peripheral areas and separate areas in the field. These zones are being gradually involved to the development, are characterized by high reservoir pressure and gas from them flows into the recovery zone with production wells. According to the results of conducted researches the mathematical model of interaction in the gas field reservoir areas with different degrees of permeability and drainage as a result of gas cross-flow between them was proposed. Applying a suggested mathematical model the impact of interaction of different permeable zones in the macroheterogeneity field on the shape of the dependence of reduced average reservoir pressure from cumulative gas production was estimated and the opportunity to identify the presence outbalance reserves in the field noninvolved into the development was found out. Layers with outbalance gas reserves can be considered as the perspective zones for development.

Inwentaryzacja obiektów geoturystycznych Pogórza Rożnowskiego (poza obszarem Rożnowsko-Ciężkowickiego Parku Krajobrazowego) i propozycja ich zagospodarowania turystycznego

Praca dotyczy obszaru Pogórza Rożnowskiego, z wyłączeniem Rożnowsko-Ciężkowickiego Parku Krajobrazowego. Przeprowadzona inwentaryzacja obiektów geoturystycznych pokazuje, że naturalne obiekty przyrody nieożywionej, na które warto zwrócić uwagę występują również poza granicami parku krajobrazowego. Reprezentatywne obiekty, które odznaczają się pod względem georóżnorodności oraz walorów wizualnych i użytkowych zostały poddane wnikliwej analizie. Opierała się ona głównie na badaniach geologicznych i waloryzacji geoturystycznej. Z uwagi na ogromny potencjał turystyczny obiektów oraz fakt, iż nie są one w żadnym stopniu przystosowane do uprawiania na ich terenie turystyki, zaproponowano ich zagospodarowanie. Teza zakładająca, że na terenie Pogórza Rożnowskiego, poza obszarem Rożnowsko-Ciężkowickiego Parku Krajobrazowego, znajduje się wiele ciekawych obiektów geologicznych, które są lub mogą stać się, po odpowiednim zagospodarowaniu i wypromowaniu, przedmiotem zainteresowania turysty została udowodniona.

Koncepcja geoturystycznego zagospodarowania wyrobiska górniczego na przykładzie kamieniołomu wapienia w Czajowicach

Nieczynny kamieniołom wapienia w Czajowicach, położony jest w otulinie Ojcowskiego Parku Narodowego, na Wyżynie Krakowsko-Częstochowskiej, otoczony wapiennymi wzgórzami o fantazyjnych kształtach. W niniejszej pracy zaproponowano jego zagospodarowanie poprzez utworzenie ścieżki dydaktycznej z punktem widokowym na panoramę południowej części Wyżyny Krakowsko-Częstochowskiej. Kamieniołom wraz z zachowanym wapiennikiem wzbudza duże zainteresowanie przejeżdżających tą trasą kierowców oraz potencjalnych turystów, a jego zagospodarowanie pozwoli na zachowanie dziedzictwa kulturowego tego miejsca oraz jest szansą na częściowe przejęcie ruchu turystycznego, odciążając tym samym OPN.

Prawne aspekty rozwoju energetyki wiatrowej w Polsce

Celem pracy jest określenie wpływu najnowszych aktów prawnych na rozwój energetyki wiatrowej w Polsce. Szczegółowej analizie poddano dwie, najnowsze ustawy dotyczące tego sektora: ustawę z dnia 20 maja 2016 roku o inwestycjach w zakresie elektrowni wiatrowych (Dz. U. 2016 poz. 961) oraz ustawę z dnia 20 lutego 2015 roku o odnawialnych źródłach energii (Dz.U. 2015 poz. 478 z późn. zm.). W pracy omówiono ewentualne zagrożenia dla branży wiatrowej spowodowane wprowadzeniem nowego, aukcyjnego systemu wsparcia OZE. Przeanalizowano nowe przepisy regulujące lokalizację turbin wiatrowych oraz wynikające z nich konsekwencje. Opisano również jak nowa definicja budowli może wpłynąć na opłacalność inwestycji wiatrowych.

Problems associated with closing underground mines for economic reasons

Tools supporting generation of »data-intensive« applications for a web environment

The article is an attempt to describe the current state of development tools whose purpose is building web applications. The article is focused on applications that rely on a relational database as a mechanism for data persistence, covered by an object-oriented application working in a client-server architecture (this should be considered rather as a functional simplification to more complex architectures) available to end users by a web interface. The leitmotif is a thesis that the fundamental element of complexity of such applications is the impedance mismatch between data models used in storage and business logics. The thesis also claims, that a commonly accepted direction of development of such solutions does not lead to any elimination of this inconsistency, but rather tends to hide it inside a mapping layer, which may, in certain cases, lead to a co-unterproductive effect.

Uwarunkowania geośrodowiskowe dla planowania przestrzennego gminy Mstów

This thesis is aimed at determining the geoenvironmental conditioning factors significant for planning as well as indicating directions of the development of Mstów commune, located in Silesia province, in the central part of Częstochowa county. Mstów commune is characterized by diverse topography and the presence of areas valuable in terms of nature and landscape. The evaluation of the conditions was carried out by overlapping environmental data using Quantum GIS. The analysis indicates that agriculture and settlement activity should remain the main direction of development of the community. The development of tourism and recreation would also be advisable. The main barrier to the development of tourism in the commune is the poor tourism infrastructure and the prevalence of flat areas.

Uwarunkowania przyrodnicze rozwoju gminy Zabierzów

The aim of this thesis is to present the natural determining factors in the Zabierzów Commune, as well as to suggest the best ways of its further development. The area which has been scrutinised is located in the Małopolska Province, near the city of Kraków. This position is one of the most important advantages of the area. Another advanteges include uncommon beauty of the area's nature and landscape, thanks to the diversity of its terrain, as well as to many streams and forests. The main factor that restrains development is the protected natural areas. The analysis of the natural determining factors leads to the conclusion that the area's most promising chances of development lie in housing, tourism and services. The suggested additional course is agricultural economy and silviculture.

Włączenie w rozwój. Rozwój jako proces współtworzenia i współuczestnictwa

The purpose of the article is to present a new model of participation in development, corresponding to contemporary social, economic and cultural conditions. Classical theoretical findings and their respective conceptual categories lead to the final construction of the model. Evolutionism provides the term of social role and places participation in the field of tensions between the individual and the system. Modernization facilitates linking inclusion in development to the type of will, i.e. intention to participate. Finally, the dialectic makes it possible to capture the underlying dynamics of the process, and also to identify the collective category of participation, which seems to be represented by a contemporary social movement. It is that movement which acts as the axiological basis of social change and becomes the value-normative layer of development, through which that development can be characterized as a process of co-creation and joint participation, in which one participates biographically, reflectively and inter-subjectively.

Wybrane problemy budownictwa podziemnego

The basic problem of the Polish underground construction both in the rocks (chapt. 2) and grounds (chapt. 3) have been discussed in the paper. The problems of the underground net infrastructure of cities have been focused on in the chapt. 4. Selected topics of the geotechnical designing in the underground construction and cross relations among the underground construction, geotechnics and geoengineering, have been presented in the last part of the paper. It has been finished by the summary indicating the prospects for the development of the underground construction in Poland.
