Item type:Thesis, Access status: Restricted , Aplikacja do analizy cyfrowych obrazów plam powstałych w wyniku rozbryzgu cieczy(Data obrony: 2011-09-19) Jalil, Adelina
Wydział Geologii, Geofizyki i Ochrony ŚrodowiskaThe purpose of this researcher was to determine: if the liquid spatter stain carries significant information about: liquid drops, the materials on which it formed and the spatter it self, what are the benefits of such information and to create a software for this analyzes. An experimental work was done . A drop of ink was dropped vertically onto a surface that was placed at an angle to the ground. 3000 of drops stains was measured in order to find the relations between the area, the impact angel and the shape of the spatter . The diameters of drop stain where measured using two techniques: manual and automatic measuring. The data was analyzed and the conclusions ware in line with expectations.Item type:Thesis, Access status: Restricted , Przetwarzanie i analiza obrazów w systemie Android(Data obrony: 2018-01-17) Wołcerz, Bartosz
Wydział Elektrotechniki, Automatyki, Informatyki i Inżynierii BiomedycznejItem type:Article, Access status: Open Access , Rozszerzenia SIMD w przetwarzaniu obrazów(Wydawnictwa AGH, 2008) Bubliński, Zbigniew; Jabłoński, MirosławThe paper presents an attempt to utilize the SIMD extensions, available in modern processor architectures, in order to minimize image processing time. In particular, the effect of MMX and SSE instructions on the digital image brightness (intensity) modification algorithm was investigated in detail. All experiments were performed in 'VirtualDub' environment. The results, i.e. processing times, were compared with those obtained from an algorithm written in plain C language.Item type:Article, Access status: Open Access , Salt and pepper noise reduction and edge detection algorithm based on neutrosophic logic(Wydawnictwa AGH, 2020) Arulpandy, P.; Trinita, Pricilla M.Noise reduction of images is a challenging task in image processing. Salt and pepper noise is one kind of noise that affects a gray-scale image significantly.Generally, the median filter is used to reduce salt and pepper noise, it gives optimum results while compared to other image filters. Median filter works only up to a certain level of noise intensity. Here we proposed a neighborhoodbased image filter called nbd-filter, it works perfectly for gray image regardless of noise intensity. It reduces salt and pepper noise significantly at any noise level and produces a noise-free image. Further, we proposed an edge detection algorithm based on the neutrosophic set, it detects edges efficiently for images corrupted by noise and noise-free images. Neutrosophic set (NS) is a powerful tool to deal with indeterminacy. Since most of the real-life images consists of indeterminate regions, Neutrosophy is a perfect tool for edge detection. In this paper, the neutrosophic set is applied to the image domain and a novel edge detection technique is proposed.Item type:Thesis, Access status: Restricted , Sprzętowo-programowy system do lokalizacji i rozpoznawania tablic rejestracyjnych(Data obrony: 2018-03-05) Korbiel, Gabriel

Wydział Geologii, Geofizyki i Ochrony ŚrodowiskaPresented thesis described issues for utilization of graphics processing units for highperformance image processing in remote sensing using CUDA. It discussed the theory about multispectral remote sensing images. The comparison of CPU and GPU in parallel computing is shown and CUDA architecture is presented. Then, a comparison between the processing speed of remote sensing images using the CPU and GPU, including the impact of selected configuration parameter values, used driver version and model of graphic card, is presented and discussed.
