Item type:Article, Access status: Open Access , Badania mikrostruktury stwardniałych zaczynów cementowych stosowanych do uszczelniania głębokich otworów wiertniczych(2006) Stryczek, Stanisław; Brylicki, Witold; Rzepka, MarcinHardened cement slurry in a well can be affected by a number of factors, e.g. formation waters, high temperature and high pressure. The borehole conditions and also type of the used binder decide about the microstructure of the slurry. The results of analyses of microstructure of hardened slurries used for cementing production pipes in drilling wells are presented. Cement slurries were made on the basis of drilling cement WG and metallurgical cement CEM III/A 32.5. Samples were exposed to the well-like conditions (in static temperatures 95 degree od Celsius and 120 degree of Celsius and at a pressure of 20 MPa). The microstructure was analysed with SEM and X-ray microanalysis. The obtained results enable an evaluation of the sealing properties of specific binder types, and their correct selection in view of the conditions in deep wells.Item type:Article, Access status: Open Access , Badania mostka do rurowania(2008) Bednarz, Stanisław; Artymiuk, JanSome operations accompanying drilling procedure require performing activities on the mast or rig, high above the floor. Work safety reasons dictated working out bridges with mobile platform over the floor. Depending on the length of the casing pipes, location of mud head and Kelly, the height of the platform can be regulated. The design of the bridge, results of applicability and load test results were discussed in the paper. The positive results enabled introducing a given bridge type to exploitation.Item type:Article, Access status: Open Access , Decyzje w zakresie rozpoznawania i likwidacji przychwyceń przewodu wiertniczego w otworach naftowych(2008) Dubiel, Stanisław; Ziaja, JanThe effects of string seizures encountered during drilling oil and geothermal wells were analyzed for establishing causes and type of the seizure. The technological decisions concerning string seizure were formulated in view of the method of solving the problem. The linear regression equation was determined with statistical analysis methods for predicting the time of freeing the seized string at a given depth of the well.Item type:Article, Access status: Open Access , Elektronno-mikroskopičeskie issledovaniâ processa formirovaniâ cementnogo kamnâ v neftânyh i gazovyh skvažinah(2006) Nikolaev, Nikolaj I.In work results of researches of process of formation crystallization structure and pore structure hardening plugging material are presented at cementation boring casing in oil and gas wells. Influence of the water-cement influence on physicomechanical properties of a cement stone is shown. It is revealed, that thin crystals C3SH and C2SH to the greatest degree define mechanical and adhesive properties polymer-cement compositions with the low contents of the dispersion medium.Item type:Article, Access status: Open Access , Investigation of horizontal wells interference in the well cluster(2006) Buračok, AleksandrThere has been observed the problem of well's horizontal parts interference in the well cluster. There has been investigated the interference of horizontal well based on replacement of horizontal parts with linear rows of vertical wells. The optimal length of well's liner part and optimal radius of strata entry have been calculated.Item type:Article, Access status: Open Access , Koncepcja wykorzystania likwidowanych odwiertów złoża Turaszówka do pozyskiwania ciepła na ogrzewanie krytej pływalni(2006) Śliwa, Tomasz; Gonet, AndrzejClosed wells used for hydrocarbon production, frequently are located close to buildings, therefore can be used for the recovery of low-temperature energy of the rock mass, which can be then delivered to the heat pumps and finally to the end user. A concept of managing closed wells in the field Turaszówka, their adaptation to heat exchangers is presented in the paper. A small distance to an indoor swimming pool creates a possibility of using the heat by a customer who requires a reliable energy source of good characteristic all year long. Having assumed heat deliveries for heating water in the swimming pool, a high efficiency of heat pump is possible. This concept was analysed in view of 5 closed wells, and also perhaps the already operational ones.Item type:Article, Access status: Open Access , Ocena efektywności zabiegów intensyfikacji wydobycia w odwiertach eksploatacyjnych(2006) Stopa, Jerzy; Rychlicki, Stanisław; Wojnarowski, Paweł; Kosowski, PiotrEnhancement procedures significantly influence the physical properties of the near-hole zone, thus increasing its productivity. The efficiency of such procedures can be evaluated by analyzing basic exploitation parameters and comparing them with productivity before and after the enhancement. In a majority of cases, these procedures are assessed as positive, significantly improving the productivity of wells. However, the economic factor may change the final evaluation. Hence a conclusion that additional exploitation data should be gathered and analysed. Exemplary assessments of enhancement efficiency are presented. The above mentioned factors were accounted for and economic profitability established.Item type:Article, Access status: Open Access , Percussion-rotary method of drilling large-diameter dewatering wells in »Bełchatów« liginte mine(2016) Gasiński, Jerzy; Macuda, Jan; Kaczmarek, TomaszLignite opencast extraction can be performed after prior dewatering of the rock mass. Most frequently it is realized with large-diameter dewatering wells which have been mostly drilled with the invert mud rotary method and airlift. This method allows for quick drilling in lithologically diversifi ed aquifers, minimizing the negative impact of mud on the near-well zone. When drilling in dewatered carbonate rocks with the stone runs or well developed karst the effi ciency of this method considerably decreases. The technical and technological aspects of use of downhole hammers for drilling large-diameter dewatering wells in diffi cult geological conditions are discussed in the paper. Thanksto the use of this method for drilling wells in ‘Bełchatów’ Lignite Mine the drilling rate could be increased and the number of complications and drilling failures lowered.Item type:Article, Access status: Open Access , Soveršenstvovanie gidrodinamičeskikh processov pri burenii gorizontal'no napravlennyh skvažin(2006) Slûsarev, Nikolaj I.; Feller, Viktor V.For a rating of an opportunity of creation of the twirled streams in ring channels of horizontal trunks of wells at circulating fluid, ratings of a degree of influence of the major factors determining technological features and regime parameters of process of removal drilling mud which laws can be established only by practical consideration, were carried out researches. Researches were carried out on specially developed stand a transparent pipe similar to site bottomhole zones of the ring channel of a well in length of 6 m. The carried out researches have proved physical preconditions of use of centrifugal forces and axial speeds of a stream for effective carrying out of mud at drilling horizontal trunks of wells.Item type:Article, Access status: Open Access , The influence of prospecting unconventional hydrocarbon reservoirs on acoustic climate(2016) Łukańko, Łukasz; Macuda, JanIn Poland the perspective shale gas formations concentrate in the area of the Baltic Basin, Podlasie Depression and Lublin Basin. Their depth varies from slightly above 2,000 to 4,500 m, depending on the location. Accordingly, novel rigs of high hoisting capacity and installed power capacity of master motors have to be used for opening natural gas deposits with the use of directional wells. The operation of such systems creates an acoustic hazard for the environment, especially in the close vicinity to the rig. The results of noise analyses of a prospecting well for hydrocarbons from unconventional sources in the north of Poland performed with the use of a rig MASS 6000E are presented in this paper. The noise analyses concentrated on the rig area among the direct noise sources and the neighborhood to show the influence of drilling operations on the acoustic environment. The obtained results revealed that the noise emission in the rig area can be limited by optimizing the localization and placement of particular objects and systems within the rig site. This also applies to the placement of the noise barriers on the border of the rig to limit the noise emission towards objects requiring protection.Item type:Article, Access status: Open Access , The influence of the trajectory of a borehole heat exchanger on the power exchanged with the rock mass(Wydawnictwa AGH, 2025) Kowalski, TomaszThe article presents the influence of the trajectory of a borehole heat exchanger on the power exchanged with the rock mass. The focus is on the thermal parameters of rocks, which include thermal conductivity. This parameter can be determined using literature, laboratory tests or in-situ using a thermal response test. The design of the borehole heat exchanger as an inclined borehole maximizes the power exchanged with the rock mass by increasing the length of the borehole exchanger in the layer with the best thermal parameters. Mathematical calculations and thermal response tests show the advantage of inclined wells over vertical borehole heat exchangers in terms of the amount of power obtained from the rock mass.
