Item type:Thesis, Access status: Restricted , Analiza geostatystyczna hipocentrów i energii wstrząsów sejsmicznych w sąsiedztwie Japonii(Data obrony: 2013-07-04) Papież, Małgorzata
Wydział Geologii, Geofizyki i Ochrony ŚrodowiskaThe aim of this thesis was to design a tool, which integrates classical geostatistical analysis with the Google Earth functionality. For this purpose, a novel application was designed and developed. Application has several functions such as visualization or analyses of seismological data based on the geostatistical methods. The basic features of the Google Earth have been extended by a set of tools for drawing an averaged semivariogram and a directional semivariogram. The examples presented in this thesis use data from Japan and its close vicinity, which are saved in the KML format. The implementation of the aforementioned program was made using the Google Earth API library and its equivalent for C# programming language.Item type:Article, Access status: Open Access , Fractured clasts in the Mt Currie Conglomerate at Kata Tjuta (Central Australia): evidence of Early Cambrian earthquakes?(Wydawnictwa AGH, 2020) Tokarski, Antek K.; Strzelecki, Piotr JanLower Cambrian Mt Currie conglomerate at Kata Tjuta bornhardts (Central Australia) bears numerous fractured clasts. Clast-cutting fractures are restricted to particular clasts, the matrix of the conglomerate is not fractured. The fractures are tectonic joints of two sets. The joints were formed due to either seismic or aseismic deformation. In the former case, the fractures may result from Early Paleozoic earthquakes.
