It is possible to increase recovery factor by application adequate secondary or EOR method of exploitation. In this work efficiency analysis of water flooding and polymer flooding for Carpathian oil field was done. Wydział Geologii, Geofizyki i Ochrony ŚrodowiskaBased on the results of analyses made at the Przedsiębiorstwo Górnictwa Nafty i Gazu in Krosno, the environmental influence of exploitation of oil field “Bóbrka-Rogi” was analyzed in the aspect of: extraction, processing, preparing to transport, dangers treatment (explosions, fires, etc.) and finishing exploitation. In the next phases, we take a glance on the influence of raw minerals on geo-components of: soils, surface water deposits and groundwaters and air. The analysis proves that there is no impact of oil exploitation on environmental geo-components. However oil exploitation can make environmental conditions poorer.
