    The aim of this study is to determine the energetic balance of an autothermal installation for biomass anaerobic carbonization on the basis of an industrial facility in Sędziszów. The thesis was split into two parts: theoretical, in which was collected the data needed to create the energetic balance and practical, in which the calculations were made. The raw material that was used to create a balance were pine wood chips from two different periods of system operation (from year 2010 and 2012). Two balances has been designated in order to compare the operation of the system in case of the materials with different parameters such as humidity or calorific value.
