    Ocena stanu środowiska gminy Igołomia - Wawrzeńczyce w oparciu o wyniki badań skażeń gleb, wód powierzchniowych i roślin jadalnych

    The aim of this thesis is evaluation of environment condition of Igołomia-Wawrzeńczyce region. This estimation was based on concentrations of six trace elements: lead, zinc, cadmium, nickel, copper and chromium in soils and plants (cabbage). The evaluation of the elements was made in use of atomic absorption spectroscopy procedure. The results were compared to the legal standards as well as mean results were compared with average concentrations of the elements in other Polish regions. Based on pH, conductivity, the amount of nitrates, nitrites, sulphates, phosphates and ammonium the evaluation of surface waters was carried. The environment condition of this district can be assessed as good and local anomalies are caused by nearby steelworks and urban agglomeration.
