    The main aim of this project was to draw one’s attention to contemporary biogas’s installation. Moreover this diploma presents most often applied substrates exploited in biogas installations (mainly in agriculture) and also its technical properties. The great example of the selection of raw materials is biogas plant that is being build recently in the podkarpackie region that 1 MWe of power can be generated by this kind of biogas plant. The main aspects that can be found in this diploma are environmental benefits that are strictly connected with using the biogas plant. This diploma also contains the next stages of the biogas production and environmental conditions necessary to initiate the fermentation of biogas. Possibilities of using biogas as well as industrial waste that appeared in processing of fermentation which firstly must be purified or improved.
