Item type:Thesis, Access status: Restricted , Badania mineralogiczne minerałów arsenu z rejonu Bou Azzer - Maroko(Data obrony: 2014-09-22) Kunecki, Piotr
Wydział Geologii, Geofizyki i Ochrony ŚrodowiskaLocated in the northwestern part of Africa, the Moroccan mining/industrial region Bou Azzer is rich in minerals of arsenic which due to the presence of such elements as Ni, Co, Cu, Au, Ag are ecomomically significant. The subject of the research conducted in this thesis are three samples of the above group minerals. The aim of the study is (i) mineralogical characterization of these mineral phases, (ii) their correct diagnosis and classification, (iii) and the identification of possibilities of elements substitution in the minerals structure. The analyzed material was characterized macroscopically and then was subjected to polarizing microscopy in reflected light and SEM research (with BSE, and using the EDS snap),X-ray diffraction analysis (to determine the unit cell parameters studied minerals), and microprobe analysis. The results indicate that those samples represent: a mineral from sulfarsenides group, being a member of the solid solution cobaltyn – gersdorfite. The next two minerals are arsenates. The first of them is representative of a number of erythrite-hörnesite, while the next represents a member of the characteristics intermediate betweeno roselite and wendwilsonite.
