Item type:Article, Access status: Open Access , Comparison and adaptation of automatic evaluation metrics for quality assessment of re-speaking(Wydawnictwa AGH, 2017) Wołk, Krzysztof; Koržinek, DanijelRe-speaking is a mechanism for obtaining high-quality subtitles for use in live broadcasts and other public events. Because it relies on humans to perform the actual re-speaking, the task of estimating the quality of the results is non- trivial. Most organizations rely on human effort to perform the actual quality assessment, but purely automatic methods have been developed for other similar problems (like Machine Translation). This paper will try to compare several of these methods: BLEU, EBLEU, NIST, METEOR, METEOR-PL, TER, and RIBES. These will then be matched to the human-derived NER metric, commonly used in re-speaking. The purpose of this paper is to assess whether the above automatic metrics normally used for MT system evaluation can be used in lieu of the manual NER metric to evaluate re-speaking transcripts.Item type:Article, Access status: Open Access , Difficulties observed in operating powered roof support during work in lower range of its working height(Wydawnictwa AGH, 2018) Płonka, Marek; Rajwa, SylwesterSignificant maintenance difficulties have recently been observed in terms of the proper maintenance of mining roofs during the operation of powered roof supports in their low section height range, which is characterized by a wide working range. These difficulties were also encountered in situations where the calculated load capacity index of the roof »g« reached favorable values. These phenomena occurred most often during extraction under gobs and when maintaining a protective roof carbon shelf of the required thickness. This paper presents the calculations and analyses aimed at clarifying and discussing these events.Item type:Thesis, Access status: Restricted , Evaluation of multimedia content summarization algorithms(Data obrony: 2018-09-12) Komorowski, Artur

This area has high values of the natural environment and a rich geodiversity associated with a complicated geological structure (the Kaczawa unit, the metamorphic Kaczawa Complex). Some of the anthropogenic activities (mining), which have revealed interesting fragments of the geological structure, have also influenced the increase of geotourism attractions in this area. The area is one of the best examples of the region in the Sudetes, where economic considerations predominate over the protection of the natural environment. Since the 16th century, the crystalline Wojcieszów limestone was mined in numerous quarries (e.g. Silesia, Gruszka, Połom, and Miłek). In the limestone, intensive karst processes occurred mainly in the Paleogene (numerous caves and speleothems). As a result of economic activity, some of the caves had been permanently destroyed and the former »Połom« nature reserve was liquidated in the late 1970s. Currently, the only nature reserve is the »Góra Miłek in Wojcieszów«. The area around Wojcieszów is rich in numerous quarries, where other construction materials were obtained (e.g. phyllites, greenschists, and metarhyodacites). Since the 12th to 20th centuries, copper ore was also exploited (adits and shafts) in the Żeleźniak massif (east of Wojcieszów in the Radzimowice area). In the 20th century, uranium ore was mined at t Chmielarz Hill adit. Recently, the Cambrian limestones (Połom) and Quaternary deposits (Okrajnik, Stara Kraśnica) have been exploited. Paradoxically, economic activity, which caused destruction of some protected objects, has also enriched the geodiversity the Wojcieszów region. The results of the evaluation proved the signififificant geotouristic potential of the studied area. The most attractive geosites around Wojcieszów demonstrate typical lithologies of the Kaczawa Succession and depict the pre-Variscan geological evolution of the area.Item type:Article, Access status: Open Access , Exploring impact of Requirements Engineering on other it project areas - case study(Wydawnictwa AGH, 2020) Jarzębowicz, Aleksander; Poniatowska, KatarzynaRequirements Engineering (RE) is recognized as one of the most important (yet difficult) areas of software engineering that has a significant impact on other areas of IT projects and their final outcomes. Empirical studies investigating this impact are hard to conduct, mainly due to the great effort required. It is thus difficult for both researchers and industry practitioners to make evidence-based evaluations about how decisions about RE practices translate into requirement quality and influence other project areas. We propose an idea of a lightweight approach utilizing widely-used tools to enable such an evaluation without extensive effort. This is illustrated with a pilot study where the data from six industrial projects from a single organization were analyzed and three metrics regarding the requirement quality, rework effort, and testing were used to demonstrate the impact of different RE techniques. We also discuss the factors that are important for enabling the broader adoption of the proposed approach.Item type:Article, Access status: Open Access , Feasibility study for exploitation and evaluation for a commercial field from the Getic Depression(2010) Grigoraş, Ioan Dan; Nicolescu, Şerban; Ionescu, MihailThe work targets are: update of the geological model, update of the production history, resources and reserves reevaluation, well production predictions, discounted cash flow analysis. The oil reservoirs and oil reservoirs with gas cap from Burdigalian (Helvetian) and the non-associated gas reservoirs from Meotian are exploited by one company and the free gas reservoirs from Burdigalian (Helvetian) are exploited by another company. This work refers to the oil reservoirs and oil reservoirs with gas cap from Burdigalian (Helvetian) and the non-associated gas reservoirs from Meotian.
Wydział Geologii, Geofizyki i Ochrony ŚrodowiskaPrzez gminę miejską Jasło przepływają trzy duże rzeki: Wisłoka, Jasiołka i Ropa. Obszar ten boryka się z problemem występowania częstych powodzi. Są one spowodowane oddziaływaniem następujących czynników: ukształtowaniem powierzchni, charakterem cieków wodnych i terenów zalewowych, działalnością człowieka oraz skutecznością istniejących budowli przeciwpowodziowych i regulacyjnych. Do negatywnych skutków tego typu zjawisk należy zaliczyć zagrożenie zdrowia i życia ludzi, środowiska, dziedzictwa kulturowego i działalności gospodarczej. Istniejące bardzo wysokie ryzyko powodziowe na terenie gminy Jasło można zmniejszyć poprzez odpowiednie działania inwestycyjne.Item type:Thesis, Access status: Restricted , Ocena uwarunkowań geośrodowiskowych rozwoju gminy Jasienica(Data obrony: 2012-07-31) Formas, Natalia

This approach assumes that a market value of real estates is determined by comparison to other similar real estates of known transaction prices as well as prices differentiating these real estates and having a strong influence on their value. One of main difficulties is the necessity of having the information on real estates similar to the one that is to be evaluated. Such real estates should be a subject of pursuing in a given market of real estates. The evaluation of required and available data and the knowledge of the functionality of GIS software enabled us to present the proposal of the content of a database on real estates and the range of data that can be transferred directly from other GIS bases or generated by analytical tools.Item type:Article, Access status: Open Access , The application of factorial analysis in the classification of the attributes of real estates(Wydawnictwa AGH, 2005) Jasińska, Elżbieta ; Preweda, EdwardWhen asking about the estimation of the market value of real estates it is very important to define the influence of respective attributes of real estates on their prices. The features of real estates are usually correlated one with another. High correlation between the explaining attributes shows that they explain the same part of the variability of prices, thus from practical and economic point of view, the attributes bringing similar information should be eliminated. To establish the influence of the attributes on the prices of real estates, factorial analysis was applied. Its main application is the reduction of the number of variables and detection of structure in the relationships between variables, i.e. classification of variables. Among several methods of factorial analysis the method of main components was chosen. This method allows the selection of the number of factors by the expert in evaluation of real estate. In the analysis of main components, after selecting the first factor one can define subsequent ones, which maximize the remaining variability. Since every following factor is defined in such a way that the variability not covered by the previous ones could be maximized, subsequent factors are independent from one another. It is a subjective decision to establish a number of selected factors and methods of their selection. Among the most often applied statistical methods, in the paper the Kaiser criterion and talus test were used.Item type:Article, Access status: Open Access , The extension of TORQUE scheduler allowing the use of planning and optimization in grids(Wydawnictwa AGH, 2012) Chlumský, Václav; Klusáček, Dalibor; Ruda, MirosławIn this work we present a major extension of the open source TORQUE Resource Manager system. We have replaced a naive scheduler provided in the TORQUE distribution with complex scheduling system that allows to plan job execution ahead and predict the behavior of the system. It is based on the application of job schedule, which represents the job's execution plan. Such a functionality is very useful as the plan can be used by the users to see when and where their jobs will be executed. Moreover, created plans can be easily evaluated in order to identify possible inefficiencies. Then, repair actions can be taken immediately and the inefficiencies can be fixed, producing better schedules with respect to considered criteria.Item type:Article, Access status: Open Access , Using statistical analyses to assess landslide hazard(Wydawnictwa AGH, 2015) Tornyai, Rudolf; Lúchava, MatejThe study was realized in the Western Carpathians, in north part of Slovakia. The main objective is to assess landslide hazard in the region, using a quantitative evaluation and compare the results between used methods. Besides the studies to improve investigation techniques and mitigative measures, there has been a constant development of quantitative methods to assess the probability of future landslide occurrence.Item type:Article, Access status: Open Access , Wykorzystanie analizy kosztów i korzyści do oceny projektów inwestycyjnych(2011) Dyduch, JustynaAnaliza kosztów i korzyści (AKK) projektu inwestycyjnego uwzględnia pozytywne i negatywne skutki realizacji projektu nie tylko dla inwestora, ale dla całego społeczeństwa. The method of judge is based on operations performed on the fuzzy numbers and fuzzy sets. The method has been used for a determination of the semester and annual marks for one group of the gymnasium and one chosen subject. Those values of marks have been compared with teachers' ones. We propose to apply that method of the final marks determination for the information function definition for the learning systems treated like information systems. We hope that it is possible to forecast an efficiency factors (in pedagogical sense) for those systemsItem type:Article, Access status: Open Access , Zastosowanie zbiorów rozmytych do oceny testów (problemów zamkniętych)(Wydawnictwa AGH, 2006) Przybyszewski, KrzysztofThe paper describes a conception of application of the fuzzy numbers for assessing students' progress in learning, knowledge assimilation and abilities. The method of judge is based on operations performed on the fuzzy numbers and fuzzy sets. It has been used for assessing different forms of tests (one-choice, multiple-choice, complementary or replaced one) and the results have been compared with teachers' marks.
