    The point of the work is to show the influence of the rock salt exploitation on the environment in the town and common of Wieliczka. The environmental conditions have been analysed on-site field and studies chemical analysis and X-ray analysis on soil samples. The field inspection was made to confront the literaturel knowledge and the current state of the site and it was documented the relevant photos. Chemical analyses were made to determine the concentration of chlorides, sulfates and pH of soil in Wieliczka and to determine the extent of soil contamination with these compounds. X-ray diffractometry was carried out on three selected samples, to identify these minerals contained in the soil.
