    The purpose of preset M.A. thesis was to create an innovate tool enabling and facilitating the acquisition and consolidation of knowledge in the field of geology. Application was made by using Netbeans IDE.The service has been created in order to use it to create and publish scientific articles in the field of knowledge about geology. It offers continuously expanded rocks directory and the ability to perform training through the quiz that simulates physical properties of rocks as well as recording the results of the research Moreover, integration with social networking site Facebook.com significantly affect the dissemination of knowledge in the field of geology and provides a number of opportunities to further develop the application into a powerful, multi-purpose tool.
