    Analiza petrograficzno-facjalna węgla z pokładu 308 KWK "Ziemowit"

    Petrographic-facies studies are performed to determine the conditions under which occurred the accumulation of organic matter in paleopeatland. For this purpose a macroscopic and microscopic observations and calculations of facies indicators are made. Commonly used methods are: Diessel's method and the Calder method. On the basis of the results is performed projection of points on the facies diagrams and made interpretation of the paleoenvironments in which occurred the deposition of peat. In this manner can be observed environmental changes during the formation of the coal seam. In this paper is presented the results of petrographic and facies analysis of coal from the seam No 308 from „Ziemowit” Coal Mine and an interpretation of the results. Based on the survey, it was found that the test coal seam was built mainly in peatland conditions known as „Wet forest swamp” and „Dry forest swamp”.

    Osady spływów grawitacyjnych w utworach górnojurajskich na północnym obrzeżeniu rowu krzeszowickiego

    Celem projektu było opisanie wykształcenia litologicznego utworów górnej jury w odsłonięciu w Ujeździe koło Bolechowic. Rejon Ujazdu jest położony w południowej części Wyżyny Krakowsko – Częstochowskiej, w województwie małopolskim. Według regionalizacji fizycznogeograficznej Polski J. Kondrackiego (1998) obszar ten należy do makroregionu: Wyżyna Krakowsko-Częstochowska, mezoregionu: Rów Krzeszowicki, stanowiący jedną z jednostek fizyczno-geograficznych Wyżyny Krakowskiej. Odsłonięcie w Ujeździe leży na terenie gminy Zabierzów w powiecie krakowskim około 15 kilometrów na północny zachód od Krakowa. Autor projektu w połowie lipca 2011 roku przeprowadził prace terenowe w ścianie nieczynnego łomu, gdzie przeprowadzono kartowanie geologiczne w celu określenia litologii warstw oraz dokonano dokumentacji fotograficznej.
