    Floors in antique Cracow’s churches are very differential with respekt to composition methods, used materials, condition and time when theirs are forming. The results of macroscopic examination enable to recognize types of rocks which are used to built floors. It was found that litological formation have an basic effect on condition of stone materials and theirs decorative values. The most often if mineralogical composition and surface of stones are differential then stones are liable to destruction. The least signs of destruction show rocks with homogeneous mineralogical composition, structure and texture. Besides litological formation have a huge influence on physical-mechanical properties and then on stones condition.
