Item type:Thesis, Access status: Restricted , Wielkość naturalnej emisji metanu i dwutlenku węgla do atmosfery w wybranym rejonie Karpacko-Galicyjskiego szlaku naftowego(Data obrony: 2013-09-13) Gular, Ewa
Wydział Geologii, Geofizyki i Ochrony ŚrodowiskaThis work present results of natural emission surveys of methane and carbon dioxide in selected area of Polish Outer Carpathians. A static flux chamber method was applied to research and they were carried out in 28 measuring points. The measurements included changes of concentrations of hydrocarbon gases and carbon dioxide, that ranged from approximately 2,1 ppm up to 4,6 ppm for methane and 0,3 vol. % up to 0,36 vol.% for carbon dioxide. The estimated methane emission rates ranged from 0,29 [mg/m2/d] to 16,62 [mg/m2/d] with average 5,019 [mg/m2/d] and the carbon dioxide emission rates varied between -11782,0 [mg/m2/d] and 68215,7 [mg/m2/d] with mean value 7931,2 [mg/m2/d]. The results demonstrated that methane gases were to migrate from oil/gas reservoir to the surface through overburden rock and the part of methane that remained unoxidized could emit into the atmosphere.
