Kamień elementów architektonicznych w gotyckich budowlach Krakowa

The stone elements of Gothic architecture show the development of masonry and construction in Krakow at the end of the Middle Ages, including the influence of western culture, education, society and the development of trade and economic and political situation in Poland. Among the rocks used for the implementation of the decorative elements were diagnosed mainly Tertiary Jurassic limestones, Triassic dolomites, limestone Pińczów and Carpathian sandstone. Occasionally uses material from outside the Polish borders then, as marble Ammonitico Rosso, as well as religious grounds purchased a sculpture made from alabaster. The use of different types of stone is not accidental and related to the artistic intentions.

Koncepcja ścieżki edukacyjnej po gotyckich zabytkach miasta Malbork

Celem niniejszej pracy było przygotowanie propozycji ścieżki dydaktycznej, która prowadziłaby po mniej znanych gotyckich zabytkach miasta. Miałaby ona zwrócić uwagę turystów na zapomniane perły gotyckiej architektury, które potraktowane jako atrakcje turystyczne, mogłyby stanowić urozmaicenie oferty turystycznej Malborka. Wybór takiego tematu był podyktowany osobistymi odczuciami i spostrzeżeniami Autora, dla którego jest to miasto rodzinne. Na drodze własnych obserwacji postanowił on podjąć się próby wzbudzenia zainteresowania innymi obiektami zlokalizowanymi w mieście, poza samym zamkiem.

Promotion of the Gothic cathedral in Tarnów among the tourists interested in rocks and their decorative values is the major aim of this paper. A reader has got introduced to the Gothic architecture discussed in details at the example of the cathedral. A particular attention has been paid to the variety of types and provenance of stones used in constructing and ornamenting the outer walls and the interior of the church.
