Wydział Geologii, Geofizyki i Ochrony ŚrodowiskaCelem niniejszej pracy była charakterystyka mineralogiczno-petrograficzna wyselekcjonowanych granitoidów Wielkiego Piargu. Wykonując badania mineralogiczno-petrograficzne bazowano na posiadanych próbkach, które porównywano z obserwacjami makroskopowymi wykonanymi w terenie. W celu dokonania charakterystyki granitoidów wykonano analizę chemiczną z zastosowaniem spektroskopii fluorescencji rentgenowskiej (XRF), analizę składu chemicznego w mikroobszarze (SEM-EDS), oraz analizę składu fazowego metodą proszkowej dyfraktometrii rentgenowskiej (XRD).Item type:Article, Access status: Open Access , How to find a gold on the touristic path - a gold-mining in the Tatra Mts.(2010) Gawęda, AleksandraGold mineralization is known in the Tatra Mts from the 15th century. The historical mining places could be indentified along the present-day touristic paths, which were used in the past as miner's roads. Both gold occurrence and genetically connected antimony mineralization are located in the flat-lying mylonitic zones, dipping 5-10 degree to NW, cutting the Tatra granite. Mylonites are mineralized by quartz and albite. The famous gold-mining galleries are known from Krywań Mt., where gold and antimonite could be found inside quartz veins straight on the touristic path until now. The important sources of gold were also the secondary fluvioglacial deposits. Gold from the Tatra Mts, regardless its origin - both primary and secondary - is of good quality, with Ag content in the range of 1.2-14.8 wt.%. Locally the veinlets of electrum are also observed. Gold in the Tatra Mts. is associated with antimonite. Its crystals are usually coated with secondary antimony oxides and hydroxides. The historical gold-mining places could be of special importance for geotouristic purposes, as they bring the information about both histories of human mining activity in the mountains and about the geological processes, forming the ores, which released the people's strongest emotions for a few thousand years.Item type:Thesis, Access status: Restricted , Zmienność litologiczna i własności użytkowe „sjenitów” strefy Niemczy(Data obrony: 2011-07-19) Murzyn, Agnieszka
Wydział Geologii, Geofizyki i Ochrony ŚrodowiskaThe aim of this work were present lithological variability and industrial application granitoid rocks occurring in the Niemcza Zone in the Sudetes (SW Poland) named “syenites”. In the selected deposits observations have done and sampling rocks were carried out. A microscopic analysis showed that this rocks contain mainly plagioclase, potassium feldspars, pyroxene, biotite. According to rock classification IUGS this rocks are syenites, quartz syenites, monzonites and quartz monzonites. Moreover we have made evaluation of a blockjointing, physic-mechanical properties and decorativeness of this rocks. “Syenites” have high decorative qualities and physical properties. This rocks are highly valued building and road stones in Poland. They are used to produce among other things block stones, slabs, paving blocks, high quality aggregate.
