Item type:Article, Access status: Open Access , Dwuwymiarowe modelowania grawimetryczne w polskich Karpatach Zachodnich(Wydawnictwa AGH, 2008) Bojdys, Grzegorz; Grabowska, Teresa; Medoń, ZdzisławaNew interpretation methodology has been applied based on determination of the equivalent structure, the gravity impact of which simulates the regional component of the anomaly field observed. Use of the equivalent structure has facilitated quantitative interpretation of gravity anomalies with the 2D modelling method. Density models of the sedimentary crust complex and the Precambrian substratum have been presented along two profiles intersecting the Polish Outer Carpathians. Geological data have been used for model construction (drillings, geological maps, sections) and results of deep seismic surveys and magnetotelluric surveys. Calculation of gravity effects has allowed to determine the contribution of sedimentary cover, substratum and crystalline complex of the crust in formation of the anomaly field. Gravity effects corresponding to the models have been presented with observed gravity force anomalies. Results of 2D gravity modelling have confirmed relationship of the gravity Carpathian low and the deep structure of the crust and indicated subordinate role of sediments in creating of the gravity anomaly field in the Polish Western Carpathians.Item type:Article, Access status: Open Access , Geofizyczno-geologiczna interpretacja anomalii grawimetrycznych i magnetycznych w polskich Karpatach Zachodnich(Wydawnictwa AGH, 2007) Grabowska, Teresa; Bojdys, Grzegorz; Lemberger, Marek; Medoń, ZdzisławThe study presents results of qualitative interpretation of gravity anomaly and anomaly of the total intensity of the geomagnetic field against the background of the geological structure of the central part of Polish Western Carpathians. Interpretation of gravity anomalies was preceded by an analysis of density of Carpathian flysch and substratum rocks. Maps of local anomalies showing various degree of details have been obtained by transformation of anomaly fields with appropriately selected parameters. The transformed gravity and magnetic anomalies were confronted with geological research data and magnetotelluric data. Convergence of negative gravity anomalies occurrence with the intermontane depressions Orava - Nowy Targ and Nowy Sącz and the zones of tectonic windows occurrence as well as positive gravity anomalies with positive magnetic anomalies and Precambrian substratum elevations, were demonstrated.Item type:Thesis, Access status: Restricted , Model grawimetryczny budowy geologicznej Karpat Polskich na odcinku Sromowce Wyżne-Młyńczyska(Data obrony: 2013-10-03) Krupska, Magdalena
Wydział Geologii, Geofizyki i Ochrony ŚrodowiskaProcess of quantitative interpretations the result of gravity investigation made in the Polish Flysh Carpathians on the Sromowce Wyżne- Młyńczyska region were presented in the paper. The interpretation was made using simulation modeling. The result was a gravimetric model which is a representation of the real geological structure of this region. Changes in bulk density of flysh rocks were analyzed and also examinated in details with geological maps. Collected in this way were the basis for the start of the correct interpretation. A special computer program was used to modeling and calculated the gravitational effect of the structures that were responding to geological units. This makes it possible to compare the effect of gravity, obtained for a specific model with the gravity anomalies.Item type:Thesis, Access status: Restricted , Modelowanie profilu grawimetrycznego przechodzącego przez Pieniński Pas Skałkowy(Data obrony: 2017-09-26) Popiołek, Damian
Wydział Geologii, Geofizyki i Ochrony ŚrodowiskaIn master thesis has been applied process of modeling the tectonic structures, the gravity impact of which simulates measured values of gravity. The gravimetric models has been presented along the profile passing through Polish Outer Carpathians, Pieniny Klippen Belt and Polish Inner Carpathians. In the construction of density models have been used geological data such as drilling, geological sections and results of deep seismic surveys. The 2D modeling has confirmed hypothesis about Pieniny Klippen Belt as a separating zone of the Carpathians: the Outer Carpathians built of flysch rocks and Inner Carpathians built mainly of crystalline rocks.
