Item type:Article, Access status: Open Access , Badania laboratoryjne sorpcji produktów naftowych w gruntach ilastych(2011) Fąfara, Zbigniew; Borysławska, EdytaA significant impact on the migration of oil products in the soil have sorption processes of hydrocarbons on mineral grains. Adsorption of hydrocarbons in the soil will cause a reduction of pollution flux, thus limiting the spatial extent of contamination. Desorption of hydrocarbons extends the migration process over time. Overall, it can be concluded that the intensity of sorption processes is an important features of the soil, that is required to assess the degree of risk. There are several models of loose soils prepared, which had been stirred in a certain proportion with clay substance. Then the volume of the adsorption of selected petroleum products in prepared soil models was measured. It confirmed the obvious fact that the higher increase of the intensity of sorption processes of hydrocarbons the bigger amount of clay substances in the soil. The obtained quantitative relations can lead to many interesting observations.Item type:Article, Access status: Open Access , Ocena stabilizacji cementem gruntu ilastego zanieczyszczonego olejem napędowym(2005) Gonet, Andrzej; Stryczek, Stanisław; Wójcik, KrzysztofThe results of researches on the change of consistency, mechanical and filtration properties of soil under the influence of diesel oil are presented in the paper. The usability of cement for the stabilization of soil contaminated with diesel oil has been assessed.
