    The aim of this thesis was the analysis of Szczawnica municipality in the respect of its tourist attractiveness and level of development of tourist and health function. Tourist attractiveness was analyzed by the ranking method, which was supported by earlier inventory of tourist values occurring in the municipality area. Level of development of the tourist and health function was analyzed by rates of developments of these functions, which were counted using analyzed statistic data. Based on used research methods, both tourist attractiveness and tourism and health function development level was determined. Thus it was determined if analyzed municipality fully uses existing values and tourism infrastructure.
