    Seismic data registered in Polish Polar Station in Hornsund, Spitsbergen has been used to perform time and frequency analysis of local seismic events. Frequencies and duration times of ice-vibrations and local tectonic earthquakes has been compared. Differences whish allow to distinguish between both types of events has been shown.
