    Stanisław Staszic was an authority in education which, he considered as the most important tool for developing the country. He created almost all high schools in the period of Duchy of Warsaw and Kingdom of Poland. He was creator of Mining Academy in Kielce, which origin initiated the long and complicated history of mining education in Poland. The development of this kind of education was specially difficult because of lack of own state but at last crowned by the origin of the Mining-Metallurgic Academy in Cracow.
