    The water - wastewater management in Stalprodukt S.A. is based on a closed water cooling cycle. The system of wastewater treatment used prior to its supply to the closed cooling installation eliminates direct impacts of sewers from the Plant on the environment. Drainage and rain waters (from roofs, lawns and roads) are discharged directly to the recipient - Raba river after being controlled in the Plant’s laboratory. Within the last thirty years they haven’t noticed no significant contravention of permissible levels of contaminants determined in the Plant’s environmental permit. Wastewater with high load of contaminants (example.g. residual oils after fissure of emulsion or with high concentrations of NaCl are delivered to licensed utilization firms or recycling plants. The Stalprodukt S.A. Plant put lots of efforts to minimize its impact to the natural environment.
