Item type:Article, Access status: Open Access , An octopus-inspired intrusion deterrence model in distributed computing system(Wydawnictwa AGH, 2016) Olajubu, Emmanuel A.; Akinwale, Abiodun; Ogundoyin, Kazeem IbraheemThe study formulated and evaluated a model for effective management of malicious nodes in mobile Ad-hoc network based on Ad-Hoc on- demand distance vector routing protocol. A collaborative injection model called Collaborative Injection Deterrence Model (CIDM) was formulated using stochastic theory. The definition of the model was presented using graph theory. CIDM was simulated using three different scenarios. The three scenarios were then compared using packets delivery ratio (PDR), routing load, throughput and delay as performance metrics. The simulation result showed that CIDM reduce considerably the rate of packets dropped caused by malicious nodes in MANET network. CIDM did not introduce additional load to the network and, yet produce higher throughput. Lastly, the access delay in CIDM is minimal compared with convectional OADV. The study developed a model to mete out a punitive measure to rogue nodes as a form of intrusion deterrence without degrading the overall performance of the network. Wydział Geologii, Geofizyki i Ochrony ŚrodowiskaThe aim of the studies was to analyze the geological, hydrogeological and technical conditioning of reservoir water injections to geological formation using as an example Grobla oil deposit. The geology of Outer Carpathians and their foredeep were analyzed. The conditions of waste storage inside a geological formation under current legal aspects were defined. Requirements that must be fulfilled by geological formation in order for reservoir water injection to be possible were described. Using gathered data the process of reservoir water injection to the Jurassic and Cenomanian formation was analyzed and described on the basis of averaged structure. It was found that the geological structure held under analysis meets the requirements for water injection. The total amount of water that can be injected into this structure was calculated and the coverage map of reservoir water was created.Item type:Article, Access status: Open Access , Improved calculations for bottom hole injection pressure versus depth while gas injection for pressure maintenance of Tengiz field(2010) Abdrahmanova, Diana; Jiyembayeva, Kalamkas; Žapbasbaev, Uzak K.Celem projektu jest obliczenie ciśnienia zatłaczania na dnie otworu w funkcji głębokości w trakcie zatłaczania gazu w celu utrzymania ciśnienia w złożu Tengiz oraz określenie zdolności iniekcyjnych poszczególnych warstw złoża (Bash, Serp, Okskey). Podstawowym celem jest określenie korelacji dla siedmiu istniejących otworów iniekcyjnych oraz oszacowanie ciśnienia zatłaczania na dnie otworu na końcu rur (środkowy Bash, środkowy Serp, środkowy Okskey). Dla każdego otworu wylicza się indywidualną korelację na podstawie wartości głębokości, temperatury, ciśnienia i wydatku. W wyniku tego powstają odchylenia przewidywanej wartości ciśnienia w funkcji zmierzonego ciśnienia. W opinii autorów podstawowym powodem tego są różne szacowane prędkości zatłaczania, w zawiązku z czym trudne jest precyzyjne oszacowanie zatłaczanych objętości.Item type:Article, Access status: Open Access , Metodyka wyznaczania parametrów hydrogeologicznych warstw chłonnych(2011) Macuda, Jan; Zawisza, LudwikOil and natural gas exploitation are connected with the problem of utilization of highly mineralized reservoir waters, separated on the surface of produced hydrocarbons. The recent practice in Poland and in other countries is to inject reservoir waters to the rock mass through pre-selected post-production wells. The evaluation criteria for absorptive of layers in view of their injection abilities are presented in the paper along with theoretical fundamentals of the injection process. The effectiveness of the injection process of waste-water is influenced by the permeability of the near-well zone and the physicochemical properties of the injected liquid, especially the presence of colmatogenic components. The colmatation of rocks may be caused either by the presence of macroscopically visible mineral suspended solids in the deposit water, or solid products of chemical reactions in the oxidation environment. Therefore it is necessary to remove primary and secondary colmatogenic components from the waste-water to be disposed in the rock mass. Laboratory research has been done on introductory cleaning of particular deposit water, which could be safely stored in the rock formation. The purpose of the research was to define and to eliminate components, which are conducive to silting-up of the rock mass, by physicochemical processes.Item type:Article, Access status: Open Access , Recognition of the flysch substrate using the electrical resistivity tomography (ERT) method to assess the effectiveness of the injection process(Wydawnictwa AGH, 2023) Ćwiklik, Michał; Pasierb, Bernadetta; Porzucek, SławomirDuring the construction of a section of the S-7 Lubień – Rabka-Zdrój dual expressway, located in the area of the Carpathian flysch (Carpathian Flysch Belt, South Poland), damage to the embankment was observed, as well as cracks and depressions in the new pavement. An analysis of the geological and engineering conditions in the area of the road section under construction showed the existence of a complex tectonic structure of the flysch formations, a shallow groundwater table, and numerous landslides. In order to stabilize the road substrate, it was decided to carry out injections, and the locations of these injections were initially geotechnically tested. However, due to the high variability of the geological structure, the target method employed was electrical resistivity tomography (ERT), which performed the survey in two stages. In Stage I, the geoelectrical/geochemical structure of the near-surface zone was identified, and the probable causes of road damage were indicated. This stage was completed by performing the stabilization and sealing process of the ground with an injection mixture. In Stage II, studies were carried out to evaluate the effectiveness of the injection process. The ERT method effectively identified the shallow geological structure and, in particular, delineated the zone of strong fractures in the flysch and areas associated with faults. Using the electrical resistivity tomography method, it was also possible to determine the injection mixture’s approximate penetration depth and the loosening zone’s degree of filling.Item type:Thesis, Access status: Restricted , Technologie uszczelniania podłoża gruntowego wykorzystywane w budownictwie hydrotechnicznym(Data obrony: 2017-01-26) Żyta, Jakub
Wydział Geologii, Geofizyki i Ochrony ŚrodowiskaTechnologie uszczelniania podłoża gruntowego są obecnie szeroko stosowane w budownictwie hydrotechnicznym. Ich rozwój wiąże się z modernizacją wałów przeciwpowodziowych. Projekt prezentuje technologie, takie jak iniekcja wysokociśnieniowa czy wgłębne wieszanie gruntu, opisując sposób ich działania oraz zalety i wady. Technologie bywają też łączone ze sobą w celu rozwiązywania bardziej złożonych problemów inżynierskich. W pracy podane są przykłady zastosowania danych technologii w rzeczywistości. Omawiane są również podstawowe parametry spoiw iłowo-cementowych, które są stosowane w części przesłon hydroizolacyjnych.
