Item type:Article, Access status: Open Access , Analiza wpływu wytypowanych zanieczyszczeń na proces zatłaczania wód złożowych i ścieków do horyzontów chłonnych(2008) Jakubowicz, Piotr; Steliga, Teresa; Bąk, WaldemarInjection of brine and liquid wastes to absorptive horizons is one of the most effective methods of waste waters management. The aim of this article is to discuss the problem of waste water injection and the phenomena responsible for near-well area damage. Recognition of physicochemical processes, which accompany water pumping, is needed to the optimum usage of pumping wells. Determination of contamination influence on the processes of water injection is possible due to physicochemical analyses and simulations done with the use of AQUACHEM software. The modification of water treatment installation was prepared due to simulation data and industrial experience. Innovations and new technologies will reduce near-well area damage and an absorptive well will be able to work without break down. Volume of an absorptive horizon will be used more effectively in order to store waste water.Item type:Article, Access status: Open Access , Projekt zabezpieczenia komory »Ważyn«(Wydawnictwa AGH, 2005) Chmura, Janusz; Lasoń, AndrzejSeveral hundred years long mining perforated considerably the underground rock mass of Bochnia. Damaging influence of time has resulted in advancing destruction of a unique, historic salt mine, shaped by many generation of Bochnia miners. The advancing alterations of the »Ważyn« underground chamber are a spectacular example of destructive changes within the rock mass. Convergence of excavations is much more pronounced in the Bochnia salt mine in comparison with the salt mine in Wieliczka: the underground deformations result from different geological structures of both mines. Protecting old excavations is a must if the historic substance of this unique mine is to be preserved. This assumption was a basis of investigations on how to protect the »Ważyn« chamber.Item type:Article, Access status: Open Access , Stowing as the method of mining pressure control during underground coal gasification(2007) Bondarenko, Volodimir Illič; Falštinskij, Volodimir S.; Dičkovskij, Roman O.; Medânik, VolodimirProcess of underground gasification of coal is connected with some negative factors. First of all it is subsidence of the soil and break of harmful gases to the surface. Authors suggest applying the stowing for prevention of these negative phenomena and control of mining pressure. The injection fulfilling of goaf for effective work of underground gazogenerator is offered. The experience of work of experimental underground gazogenerator »Pidzemgaz« is considered. The substantiation of parameters of injection stowing of the goaf is resulted.
