    The thesis presents the basic assumptions of design and build large photovoltaic power plant. As an example, present Poland's first photovoltaic power plant in Wierzchosławice. Presents both the conditions for the production of energy from the sun in Poland, the base of the photovoltaic effect and the basic concept of large PV installations. Moreover, the thesis presents an analysis of economic power, the expected payback period and the analysis of environmental investments in the form of avoided emissions. What is more, the author analyzed the quality of the installation in Wierzchosławice. It also presents irregularities, while proposing the proper solution.
