    Charakterystyka mineralogiczna arsenianów żelaza z Rędzin na Dolnym Śląsku

    In the Rędziny (Lower Silesia), in the dolomitic marble quarry is very abundant, dispersed hypergenic zone, rich in rare secondary minerals. This zone was formed by the effect of weathering processes, at the expense of polymetallic primary mineralization. This work focuses on the mineralogical characteristics of secondary iron arsenates present in the fragment of hypergene zone. Phase identification was made by XRD, SEM-EDS and WDS. In the Rędziny recognized several iron arsenates: pharmacosiderite and Ba - pharmacosiderite, scorodite, very rare yukonite, Bi-yukonite and not defined Ca-Fe arsenates. Iron arsenates are one of the last phases formed in the oxidation zone in the Rędziny.
