Wydział Geologii, Geofizyki i Ochrony ŚrodowiskaThe energy coal processing power is related to the emission into the atmosphere of many compounds which have a negative impact on the environment The laws of the European Union since 2020 year introducing to limits emissions of $Pb$ and $Cd$ from anthropogenic sources. Before taking actions to reduce emissions need to be carry systematic research of coal quality, with particular reference to the content of the elements polluting the environment, such as $Cd$ and $Pb$. These researches will make it possible to monitor the contents of toxic elements in coal before the operation in order to adapt the energy processing technology of coal to its quality. The research is extremely important in the case of lignite, which is a strategic raw material for the energy production and also low-quality fuel, responsible for emissions of the toxic compounds into the atmosphere.
