Item type:Article, Access status: Open Access , Badania nad wpływem współczynnika podatności podłoża na nośność obudowy wyrobiska podziemnego(Wydawnictwa AGH, 2008) Frydrych, KornelDistinguishing feature of the underground excavations' lining (including tunnels) is their cooperation with a rock mass i.e. displacement on the lining and rock mass contact causing the creation of the forces (elastic passive rock mass pressure) which act beside active rock mass pressure. This fact caused that is necessary to take it into consideration in static calculations. Used method has two faults: it doesn't take into consideration both lining structure influence on the value of the coefficient of subgrade reaction and the variation of this coefficient value connected with the changing of the excavation radius in the breakthrough. The paper presents elastic passive rock mass pressure influence on designed distance of steel arch support. The lining structure influence on the elastic passive rock mass pressure value was also discussed.Item type:Article, Access status: Open Access , Zagadnienia projektowania obudowy długotrwałych wyrobisk podziemnych(Wydawnictwa AGH, 2009) Wichur, AndrzejUnderground construction in Poland underwent a rapid development over the period of prosperity in mining and the worsening geological-mining conditions became the incentive to create new constructions of support. A particular role was taken by long-term excavations' support and lining (shafts, crosscuts, chambers etc.). The paper constitutes the review of base achievements in this field. The types of the support and lining presented and the methods for their calculations were the results of many years of research and practical experiments. Many calculation models were used in the design process. The designing practice related allow to use these in statical calculations of other underground structures, like communication tunnels, hydroengineering objects etc.
