    The hydrogeologic researches, the present master’s thesis bases on, have been carried in the area the limestone open – pit mine „Czatkowice”. The purpose of this investigations was to assess the hydrogeological conditions occurring in the mine based on changes in the position of water table and the analysis of chemical composition of groundwater. The obtained results were processed in the AquaChem Waterloo Hydrogeologic Company. As a result of the interpretation the classification of waters were made. The analysis showed that the hydrogeological conditions in the limestone mine „Czatkowice” are complicated.
