    The Main Dolomite (Ca2) is one of the most perspective hydrocarbon reservoirs in Polish Zechstein Basin. The aim of this thesis was structural interpretation of fragment of Nowa Sól- Wschowa 2D seismic survey in order to prospecting for hydrocarbons in Main Dolomite formation. Reefs, which are potential hydrocarbon traps, in view of theirs shape, size and properties, are difficult for interpretation. Under the project series of seismic modelings were made in order to investigate influence of variables, elastic properties in Main Dolomite on theoretical wave field and compare obtained results to actual data.
