    The main aim of the diploma thesis is discussion of hydrogeological conditions in Brennica River’s catchment area and the factors which influence these conditions, e.g. lay of the land, climate, geology. The large part of Brennica River’s catchment area covers with protected areas. Therefore the present environmental state and potential pollution sources were descripted. In further part of the thesis the ways of water and sewage management was characterized. The significant part of diploma thesis is based on the results of fieldwork. The map of the first groundwater table is inherent part of this thesis.
