Analysis of property market is identifying the mechanism of its operation, structure, condition and development of its elements. Market analysis enables taking accurate and rational decisions that is why it is a very important stagein many fields connected with property market. Statistic analysis conducted with appropriate programs makes it possible to assess the importance of features and factors shaping recreational property market. Econometrics model as well as the procedure of studying the structure of community has an important bearing on isolating fundamental traits which affect value of property.Item type:Article, Access status: Open Access , Geotechnical monitoring and mathematical modelling in medieval mine Jeroným (Czech Republic)(2007) Hrubešová, Eva; Kaláb, Zdeněk; Kořinek, Robert; Žůrek, PetrIn this paper, methods of the geotechnical monitoring and results of the first stage of mathematical modelling in the Medieval Mine Jeroným in Czech Republic are presented. Increasing requirements for environmental protection challenge the oil industry to minimize the oil spill accidents throughout the production and transportation processes. Hydrodynamic interaction of pit oil with flow is in reasonable agreement with data of industrial tests. The authors prove law of development turbulent non-isothermal jet flow in pit oil. In this paper a mathematical model was designed and numerical simulation of turbulent non-isothermal flow in pit oil was performed. The mathematical method is based on the non-isothermal fluid flow in pit oil using solution of Reynolds-averaged Navier-Stokes equations and equations of the k-symbol model of turbulence. The developed model has been validated with experimental data. Numerical simulation calculation results were found to be in reasonable agreement with data obtained from the experiments. Turbulent (molar) transfer is important in flow part and vortex zone of reverse flow. In the other part convection and molecular mechanism of momentum and heat transfer dominated. The developed mathematical model and numerical simulation methods are used to study the process of heating pit oil by hot fluid flow. In technical aspect it allows to determine the mass of heated pit oil which is used in thermo-mechanical technology of gathering spilled oil.Item type:Article, Access status: Open Access , Matematyczny model niszczenia struktury stropu uwarstwionego(Wydawnictwa AGH, 2005) Walaszczyk, Jan; Makówka, JanuszIn the process of deformation of roof rock in the neighbourhood of the long-wall exploitation horizontal displacements are of special importance. It especially concerns the situation when the roof is strongly layered and the cohesion between layers is small: it leads to a displacement between layers (after breaking the inter-layer contacts), which substantially changes of stiffness of rock mass and influences the destruction of the internal structure of the exploited roof. For the mathematical description of the situation mentioned above the model used in the paper was a mathematical one based on the distinct element method, taking into consideration a strongly layered rock mass and inter-layer slips. Horizontal displacements of roof layers over the long-wall exploitation area were analyzed in a special way.Item type:Article, Access status: Open Access , Mathematical modelling of utilization waste gases from industrial furnaces(2013) Rusinowski, Henryk; Milejski, Adam; Buliński, ZbigniewCombustible waste gases are by-products of many technological processes. They vary in their calorific value and are used to decrease the usage of gases whose calorific value is higher. Coke oven gas from the coking process and process gases from an electric furnace in a copper plant are examples of such gases. Composition and calorific value of coke oven gas depend on coking parameters as well as on the type and quality of coal. The most common process where the coke oven gas is used is the process of heating combustion air in a heat regenerator. The gases from the electric furnace (due to low calorific value) require post combustion at the beginning of their disposal process. The paper addresses mathematical modelling of a coke oven battery regenerator as well as mathematical modelling of post combustion and cooling the electric furnace process gases. The regenerator mathematical model was elaborated for the simplified geometry of a real object making the assumptions for the heat transfer equations. The post combustion and cooling processes of the electric furnace gases are modelled with the aid of the Ansys software. This software was used for both elaborate simplified geometry of the analysed object and carry out the simulations. Mathematical description of occurring processes includes in this case combustion, turbulence and heat transfer.Item type:Thesis, Access status: Restricted , Modeling of primary energy use and emissions of carbon dioxide for cement sector in Poland in 2025 year perspective(Data obrony: 2013-05-28) Czuma, Natalia

Modele matematyczne ograniczników powinny właściwie odzwierciedlać charakterystyki napięciowo-prądowe warystorów podczas oddziaływania przepięć. Spośród wielu modeli opracowanych dotychczas do symulacji komputerowych zależności napięciowo-prądowych wybrano jeden model ograniczników. Parametry elementów modelu wyznaczono przy wykorzystaniu danych katalogowych. Modelowano zależności napięciowo-prądowe dla różnych udarów prądowych ogranicznika przepięć stosowanego w układach elektroenergetycznych 110 kV. Obliczenia porównano z wynikami badań.Item type:Thesis, Access status: Restricted , Modelowanie zużycia energii pierwotnej oraz emisji ditlenku węgla dla sektora wytwarzania stali surowej w Polsce w perspektywie roku 2025(Data obrony: 2013-11-15) Mikrut, Diana

It is especially true in using such wastes for reclamation and leveling purposes. Contaminants release from deposits can be stopped or at least highly limited by use of permeable and semi-permeable reactive barriers. The possibilities of removal of As, B, Ba and Sr ions from infiltrating water were investigated. Diversity of chemical properties and interactions in water environment requires selective selection of barrier's construction materials and structure. Upon experimental data and results of mathematical modeling with PHREEQC and self developed code, a system of reactive barriers was designed, addressing each of mentioned elements.Item type:Article, Access status: Open Access , The reinforcement of tunnel lining of former service tunnel due to the load caused by a new underground structure(2007) Krásný, Otakar; Horák, VladislavClose to an eastern part of a historical centre of the city Brno, between the streets Benesova and Koliste, there is planned a project of huge multi-functional building called CD-Palace, which should be built up in area of already canceled depo of the Main Railway Station Brno. Under the south-eastern corner of a planned building is situated former deep layed service tunnel Malinovskeho namesti. The underground foundation structures are ended only 4,75 m upon the top of the tunnel. Due to the increment of load of 200 kPa which will be caused by foundations there was set question whether the construction of tunnel is capable to carry such a load. The method chosen to calculate this problem was mathematical modelling with finite element method.Item type:Article, Access status: Open Access , Zastosowanie algorytmów genetycznych do modelowania procesów przeróbki surowców mineralnych(Wydawnictwa AGH, 2009) Gawenda, Tomasz; Niedoba, Tomasz; Przybycień, Krzysztof; Tumidajski, TadeuszThe dynamic development of technical sciences and economical problems relied to it requires new, more appropriate and more precise researching methods and more detailed quantitative analyzes. There are many optimizing methods, which can be applied in analyzes if technological systems of mineral processing. Recently, the calculation methods based on the genetic algorithms were applied in purpose of designing, simulation and optimization of operation systems work effects. In the presented paper, this method was used to estimate coefficients of formulae describing hydrocyclone work on the basis of empirical results. It occurred that from the four presented approximation ways (estimation) of Plitt equation coefficients, the method of genetic algorithms was minimally the best. The application of genetic algorithms in simulation of devices and mineral processing systems is a very good solution if the applied heuristic models describe sufficiently well conditions and work effects of devices.
