Coordinating contracts in SCM review of methods and literature

Supply chain coordination through contracts has been a burgeoning area of research in recent years. In spite of rapid development of research, there are only a few structured analyses of assumptions, methods, and applicability of insights in this field. The aim of this paper is to provide a systematic overview of coordinating contracts in supply chain through highlighting the main concepts, assumptions, methods, and present the state-of-theart research in this field.

Methodology for Evaluating Applicability of Real Estate Information Systems

This article proposes a methodology for evaluating the applicability of real estate information systems. Despite the fact that such systems have been created by different agencies and for different reasons, all of them should effectively deliver their designed functionalities. These functionalities are determined by the types of users. Real estate information systems have been developed on the assumption that they would be accessible to all citizens; therefore, the applicability of these systems should be examined. In this context, applicability is defined as the degree to which a product, system, or service enables users to achieve their goals in an efficient, effective, and satisfactory manner. A universal methodology for evaluating the applicability of a given system has been proposed and validated in this study. Certain limitations of real estate information systems that could affect their use in land administration procedures were also identified.

Wpływ metodyki opróbowania na wyniki oznaczeń miedzi i glinu w wodach podziemnych i wodach wodociągowych

The subject of this study is to evaluate the influence of sampling methodology on the results of determination of selected metals (copper and aluminum) in groundwater and in water intended for human consumption - based on the study. The study presents the characteristics of the occurrence of selected metals in soils, surface water, groundwater and water intended for human consumption. Characterized were sources of drinking water for the city of Krakow and the water supply network. Presented aquifers in Krakow and groundwater chemistry. Discusses were sampling methodology of water intended for human consumption and groundwater, which was used during the research and presents the results. On that basis assessed the influence of sampling methodology on the results of aluminum and cooper, and suggested the need for more research.

Wprowadzenie. Mniejszości narodowe i etniczne w badaniach socjologicznych po 1989 roku. Tożsamości, teorie, badania

Ponad dwie dekady, które minęły od początku okresu transformacji ustrojowej przyniosły znaczące zmiany w sferze stosunków etnicznych w Polsce. Problematyka etniczna, mimo że nie lokuje się w centrum uwagi polskich socjologów, nadal jednak pozostaje tematem atrakcyjnym ważnym dla wielu z nich. Z tego powodu rodzi się wiele pytań. Czy obserwowane i badane w ostatnich dziesięcioleciach zjawiska etniczne pozwalają na sformułowanie szerszej refleksji nad modelem polskiej etniczności? Czy to, co dzieje się w tej sferze stosunków społecznych jest specyficzne dla kraju i kultury, czy ma wymiar ponadlokalny? Czy nadal kluczowe dla socjologów etniczności są, jak to miało miejsce w latach dziewięćdziesiątych ubiegłego wieku, zagadnienia związane z odradzającą się tożsamością kulturową i tradycją tych grup? Czy w centrum lokuje się wizja etniczności jako »spółki z o.o.«, parafrazując tytuł jednej z ostatnio wydanych książek mówiącej o komercjalizacji i instrumentalizacji etniczności? A może istotna jest »politycyzacja« tej sfery życia wyrażająca się w analizach polityki tożsamości czy walki o podmiotowość społeczną. Tak zakreślona tematyka pozwala na uzyskanie odpowiedzi nie tylko na pytanie, co socjologowie etniczności obecnie badają, ale tez do jakich teorii odnoszą się. Wspomniane wyżej problemy znajdą swoje rozwiązanie na łamach tego tomu.

Zastosowanie metody magnetotellurycznych profilowań ciągłych w badaniach strukturalnych

The paper presents case studies of the continuous magnetotelluric profiling applied to structural studies under varied geological conditions. Two applications refer to identifying of allochthonous flysch structure and its basement in the Polish Outer Carpathians. The case studies from the Sudetes Mts. present the application of the continuous magnetotelluric profiling to identify tectonic zones in crystalline rock complexes and accompanying filtration zones of mineral and thermal waters. A case of a salt dome that was identified by means of the MT investigations in the central part of the Mid-Polish Ridge is also presented. At the platform-type zone of the East Pomerania, the MT investigations were carried out to recognize geological complexes resting beneath the evaporate Zechstein horizon that screened the elastic energy. The methodology of the MT investigations and results of geophysical interpretation and some aspects of geological interpretation of MT data are presented.
